Introduction

Stay steady, Signataire. Your past has come to find you.

Steady is a survival horror TTRPG where players must draw correspondence circles to cast spells of their invention. They are known as signataire, the last of banished court advisors and entertainers left to rot at the edge of the world after a cataclysmic war ravaged the land and correspondence was outlawed.

Correspondence circles are made of three elements:

• The Ligature, to determine the element
• The Filigree, to determine the modification of the element
• The Seal, to cast the spell.

The more accurate the symbols are in the circle, the more controlled the outcome. If an enemy approaches a player, the GM sets an appropriate timer— this is their allocated time to draw before it reaches them.
